Beta glucans are biological defense modifiers (BDM) that nutritionally enhance, modify and balance the immune system.

Glucans have been investigated for many years, particularly in light of their ability to activate macrophage immune cells and, in turn, the T-Cells, NK-Cells and B-Cells including selected cytokines and complement.
